专家简介：Bob Webb is the Paul Tudor Jones II Eminent Research Professor at the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Virginia. His background includes service in business, government, and academia at the: Investment Department of the World Bank (Consultant); Chicago Mercantile Exchange (Senior Financial Economist); Executive Office of the President, Office of Management and Budget (Senior Financial Economist); U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (Senior Financial Economist); University of Southern California. He earned his M.B.A. and Ph.D., degrees in finance from the University of Chicago. He held a joint appointment at the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) Business School for three years.  He has written opinion pieces for The Wall Street Journal, and the Nihon Keizai Shimbun among others. He has published his research in academic journals including the Journal of Econometrics and the Journal of Business and Economic Statistics, among others, and is the author or co-author of several books including Trading Catalysts and Shock Markets. He served as the Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Futures Marketsfor 24 years. Bob received a Fulbright Research Scholarship to conduct research on housing affordability at the University of Wollongong in Australia in 2024.
